EXISTENCE OF FIXED POINTS OF CERTAIN CLASSES OF NONLINEAR MAPPINGS
In this study, we introduce the classes of $phi$-strongly pseudocontractive mappings in the intermediate sense and generalized $Phi$-pseudocontractive mappings in the intermediate sense and prove the existence of fixed points for those maps. The results generalise the results of several authors in literature including Xiang [Chang He Xiang, Fixed point theorem for generalized $Phi$-pseudocontra...
متن کاملFixed Points of Multiple-valued Transformations
A multiple-valued transformation T from a space X to a space Y is a function assigning to each point x o f X a nonempty closed subset T(x) of F. The graph of T comprises those points (x, y) in the topological product X Y for which y belongs to T(x). All spaces to be considered shall be compact metric and all transformations T shall be upper semi-continuous, meaning that their graphs are closed,...

متن کاملFixed points of endomorphisms of certain free products
The fixed point submonoid of an endomorphism of a free product of a free monoid and cyclic groups is proved to be rational using automata-theoretic techniques. Maslakova’s result on the computability of the fixed point subgroup of a free group automorphism is generalized to endomorphisms of free products of a free monoid and a free group which are automorphisms of the maximal subgroup.
متن کاملFixed points of elliptic reversible transformations with integrals
We show that for a certain family of integrable reversible transformations, the curves of periodic points of a general transformation cross the level curves of its integrals. This leads to the divergence of the normal form for a general reversible transformation with integrals. We also study the integrable holomorphic reversible transformations coming from real analytic surfaces in C with non-d...
